What can you enquire about?
Glass fiber reinforced concrete, or GFRC, is used for architectural elements with custom forms and textures. Montakhab Omran’s published portfolio includes facade panels, parametric surfaces, lattice elements and architectural features. The feasibility of a particular design depends on its geometry, dimensions, mould requirements and handling and installation arrangements.
Specify the component type and the scope you need: panel production, production-related design, or a separate discussion of transport and installation. Selecting GFRC does not replace connection design or the structural assessment of a facade.
What affects the price of a GFRC facade?
A single price per square metre is not a reliable quotation without drawings and a defined scope. Geometry, repetition and mould reuse, panel dimensions, colour and texture, order quantity and delivery schedule all influence an estimate.
Check whether proposals include moulds, production, packaging, transport, connections and installation. Compare equivalent scopes rather than the price of a manufactured panel with the cost of a complete installed facade. The site’s pricing guide explains these considerations in more detail.
How is an enquiry developed into an order?
Begin with drawings or a design image, approximate dimensions and the project location. Panel subdivision, mould repetition, colour and texture and the need for samples can then be discussed. Production and inspection are planned once the scope, specifications and programme have been agreed.
Clarify the colour and texture sample, appearance and dimensional acceptance criteria, and responsibility for connection design and supply before finalising the order. A digital image or a sample alone does not describe every characteristic of the finished component.
What should you send for a quotation?
Send available PDF drawings or design files, facade photos or renders, project city, approximate area or panel quantity, key dimensions, intended colour and texture, and your proposed delivery programme. If the design is still developing, explain its current stage and the information available.
A panel layout and schedule of repeated types help make the estimate more specific. State whether the enquiry covers production alone or whether transport and installation also need separate consideration.
How should weight, durability and connections be assessed?
Panel weight and performance depend on dimensions, geometry, thickness, framing and connections, and material properties. A universal weight reduction percentage or fixed service life cannot be applied to every design. Manufacturing quality, curing, exposure and maintenance also belong in the project assessment.
Review project specifications and design documents with the responsible engineer. GRCA publications provide technical reading; linking to them does not imply company membership or certification.
Production enquiry questions
Can I enquire about a custom form and texture?
Custom forms and textures are described on the Montakhab Omran website. Feasibility for your design is determined after reviewing drawings, mould requirements and component constraints.
Is facade area enough for a quotation?
Area is a starting point. A comparable estimate also needs component type, dimensions, mould repetition, colour and texture, and an agreed scope of services.
How can I review the project portfolio?
Visit the project directory to see published images and descriptions. Mention a relevant example when contacting the company for information related to your own project.
